The recipe of Nofar restaurant

Chocolate Easter cake

  • 150 gr of milk
  • 350 gr of flour
  • 50 gr of cacao
  • 100 gr of butter
  • 150 gr of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 15 gr of yeast
  • 90 gr of dried cranberry
  • 100 gr of walnut
  • 150 gr of dark chocolate
  • 30 gr of orange zest
  • 100 gr of ready-made caramel

Cooking method:

  1. Mix together milk, yeast, sugar and 50 gr of flour. Set the mixture aside.
  2. When the mixture begins to rise, add cacao, remaining flour, butter and egg yolks.
  3. Put the dough in baking forms. Preheat an oven. Cook cakes for 20 minutes at a temperature 180 degree.
  4. Melt dark chocolate on a water bath.
  5. When cakes are ready cover them with melted chocolate. Decorate them with caramel, orange zest, dried cranberry and walnuts.
